Trev,

Great Blog! Hey I noticed you are using Wilderness Athlete's products, what do you think of them? There is a lot of fluff when it comes to nutritional supplements and crap. Are these the real thing? What products are you using and what is your favorite? Kaleb Smith

Yeah they are the real deal. I religiously take their Multi Vitamin and devour their bars (Mountain Berry is my favorite) and their Hydromax is great after a run, workout, or just working in the yard. The Alert is great first thing in the morning. Well I haven't answered your questions very well. Heck I like em all! Check out more info on them at www.wildernessathlete.org - Trev

With the Wilderness Athlete products I use them ALL the time not just in the backcountry, here is how I break it down....

Inner Armor Multi-Vitamin - Everyday

HydroMax - Anytime but especially after working out or any activity where I need to rehydrate

Alert - When I need a kick start or focus (mornings, before working out etc..)

High Energy Bars - I am not much of a breakfast guy so these are great for me for every morning, and of course in my pack!

Blast Gels - Are great for just that a blast of energy! If I need to get up and over a ridge I willhit one of those and go!!

Altitude Advantage - This product I start taking 4-5 days before I head into the high country and then continue through out the hunt.
