Colorado Archery Elk Hunt 2007

Sorry it has been so long since my last blog it has been crazy with all the filming of my hunts, writing, working on starting a new archery TV show (more news to come on that in the future!), working, and of course spending quality time with my family.

I have recently returned from an archery hunt for elk in Colorado where it was extremely special for various reasons. The first of which is I got a chance to reconnect with an old bullriding buddy Adam Carrillo (one of the founding members of the PBR and 12 time PBR finalist) where we both were bowhunting. Another is that I got to also hunt with my good friend Adam Wells. And of course the fact that the bulls were rutting and bugling was also awesome!

I was fortunate enough to take a great 5X5 on video with a great shot and he only went 3 steps and piled up on camera. We had a great crew and a lot of laughs around the campfire and as you probably already know that is as important t0 me as the kill!
